About Phronesis Global Leadership Group
Founded in 2016 at the University of Ibadan, Phronesis emerged as a dynamic organization driven by a shared passion for leadership among young undergraduates and professionals. The word "Phronesis," derived from ancient Greek, signifies practical wisdom and sound judgment, reflecting our core mission to cultivate effective leaders who can navigate the complexities of today's world.
From its inception, Phronesis has focused on empowering youth through leadership training, mentorship programs, and community service initiatives. We believe in fostering an environment where individuals can hone their leadership skills, develop a strong sense of social responsibility, and engage with their peers to create impactful change within their communities.
Over the years, Phronesis has facilitated leadership training sessions in Liberia, extending our impact beyond Nigeria to other West African nations. We have cultivated a network of leaders trained by our organization in several countries, including Sierra Leone, Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, and The Gambia. This expansion illustrates our commitment to empowering not only students but also young professionals across the region, nurturing a collective drive for effective leadership.
